  1. If that car is like my old Nissan, I would expect that it is barely broken in. My old car was sold to a friend and was still running strong at 320,000 miles . It was a Sentra, not an Infiniti, but that was my Nissan experience. It was a 100 percent quality well-built car that just wouldn't die.

  2. The first thing any prospective Infiniti purchaser should do is request and review the dealer performed service history.  You must verify the 3,750 mile OCI on newer Infinitis.  If that passes your scrutiny, then schedule the car for an inspection with a senior Infiniti technician.  If possible, it is always good to obtain the Nissan backed Infiniti  extended warranty.

The 3.5L VQ and 4.5L VK engines have reduced bearing areas and have looser fitting rings for less friction and more power and economy.  When run at too high an rpm before break in or  before reaching operating temperature, high oil consumption can be incurred.

Secondly, a problem with all manufacturers is that lead has been eliminated from bearings in newer manufacturers.  Unfortunately, this leads to their failure when the oil is left too long in the crankcase.  Hence the OCI must be verified.  Although I have owned new in the past, I would never buy a used BMW with their 15K extended "free dealer service" OCI.  Their cars are 98% recyclable because they are now designed to be decommissioned at 100K miles.

  3. Thats barely the begining of its life. The G35 last forever like a Honda or Toyota with regualr maintnance. It was also Consumer Reports top pick out of every car for reliability and resale value

  4. As said it is nothing to those engines,i have owned a good few high mileage Nissan's and one was a 230000 and still ran like new when i sold it.

  5. ill do it, I don't give a fu*k, ill do it.

no, seriously though, get it. that is nothing for an infiniti
