y, when i hear ppl complaining about taxes, in 1970, amendment 16, was added to the constitution of the united states of America, that ppl needed taxes, to nail the rich ppl. y when the taxes r raised in this country that ppl think it should only apply to the rich.

ppl, work hard in the U.S.A but they still make lil $. but ppl are bias against ppl who work and make a greater amount of money. ppl in the U.S.A. r so bias that we voted for an amendment, that basically ruined what our revolution was sworn to protect.

taxes was created in the U.S.A. to punish the rich, because they make more money then everyone else, my ? ladies and gentalman, is why punish someone for making more $ than u, and just to have it thrown back in our faces?

  1. Most taxes go to social programs. To avoid taxes there needs to be less social programs.

Social programs is the number one cause of budget deficits and most social programs' costs are increasing faster than inflation. Another fact is that in America, social programs are cancerous. (Cancerous programs are programs that eventually create the need for more social programs)

  2. This amendment was passed in 1913. I am not sure what you are saying but I don't believe taxes were ever created to punish the rich. The government must have money to operate. I am not saying taxes are something people like to pay, but I think most will agree, they are necessary.

  3. I have difficulty following your grammar, not even sure what question you're asking.

The 16th amendment was sent to the States for ratification in 1909; and ratified in 1913. I don't understand your reference to 1970.

You are correct in stating that many people in the USA are biased against those who have a higher income.

Taxes were created to fund the government.
