Hello! OK, before you guys laugh hysterically at what I'm playing my records on, I'm just a newbie record collector, and this is all my poor, self employed sorry a** could afford. So, my problem is one day as I was happily listening to records, there was a horrible "static" like sound that sounded as if someone was running their finger over the needle making horrible scratchy sounds. Upon close investigation my husband resoldered the wire that had come loose-thinking it was a simple fix. Well, it worked fine when we tested it then. But the next day I went to slap a record on and it did the exact same thing again--the sound only comes from the left side--which was the wire that had been resoldered. Does this sound like a cartridge prblem, a wire problem or something else entirely? Any info anyone could offer woulf be greatly appreciated, I have spent hours researching troubleshooting, and I can't find a bloody thing. Thanks in advance!Lisa
