70's or early 80's children's afternoon tv movie

 does anyone remember a show that came on in the afternoon. I thought it was on abc but not really sure.  It started with a woman opening the gates into a stage show type show there was a witch and a majic book.  There was also a set of panders.  I have wondered about this show for years it would have been in early 70's.
