2007 patriots by a long shot!!!!! The 1972 dolphins had a very weak schedule. They played 2 teams during a 14 game season who were over 500. They beat the chiefs 20-10 Sept 17 72 and the giants 23-13 Dec 10 72 both finished 8-6 and neither made the playoffs. The patriots beat the cowboys 48-27, the redskins 52-7, the giants 38-35, the steelers 34-13, the colts 24-20 and the chargers 38-14 during the season and all the above were playoff teams. My point better and more competition. The no namers could not stop the passing game of Brady to Moss.
