I want to know if there's a REAL dicernable difference between a 720 and 1080p tv at 32-37". If there's no real difference I would like to get a 720 because it would save me rougly 300$ canadian. Mainly for gaming and blue ray movies, would it be more beneficial to get a 32" 1080p or a 37" 720p tv?

  1. At 32 and 37" it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for the human eye to perceive the differences between 720p and 1080p. To be truthful, 1080p is only noticeable at sizes greater than 40". At 40" and lower, 1080p is just a marketing gimmick that manufacturers get away with to sell more TV's. Save your money and go with the 720p set, trust me.

  2. anything below 37"  go get 720p tv. anything above,  go get yourself 1080p to get the best from your blurays.  YOu wont see much of a difference in 1080 in 37" below tv size.

1080 is the way to go to get the best for your bluray movies. Samsung has the best LCD screen for 32 or 37 inch lcd hdtv. go find out at www.cnet.com and read reviews and editors choice. I have the LN40A650, 1080 in 40inch. i love every movies bluray offers in 1080...you got to experience it to believe it. Im sold!

    good luck

  3. Not for that size TV. Above 40" will show a small improvment in 1080p but if you don't sit close to your TV it wont really be noticeable.
