Help!! I installed a A-Trend Mainboard Model ATC6240-01 along with a Pentium III CPU 733 MHz.  I am using a slot one adapter. I have a Western Digital hard drive model AC14300R (4.1GB) as my drive C.   The HDD S.MA.R.T. is enabled. My problem is loading Windows 98.  Every time I try to load Windows it errors out during the install program with this message. ???Attention:  A serious disk error has occurred while writing to drive A.  Retry (r)????  The only way out at this point is to reboot!  Pressing ???r??? does nothing. This happens when it should not be writing to drive A:  I have written to the drive in dos and it works ok and I am using it to boot so it reads OK. Why is it doing this?  How can I correct it?   Thanks for your help in advance. Steve Nelson
