Between both of the rivals, which aircraft is more efficient?

The 737-800 or A320?

The 737-900 or A321?

and the Embraer 190 vs A319?

  1. better heck their websites its too dificult since i muyself s a fan  or shall i say a very addict when it comes to airplanes its my hobby thats why, and also its due to my fristrations of being an inflight crew


  2. Wow, that is a very difficult question. It all depends on the type of engine, flight route and utilization. It also depends who you talk to. Most people side the A/C they know or like. Even the experts tend to do this. Even when it's the same A/C two different engine manufactures can do the same thing promoting their engine. So though this is not answering your question just know that no matter what answer you chose there will be someone with who has all the information for the other one. So good luck. Personally I have heard that the A320 is more efficient especially with the CFM engines.

    Well Embraer doesn't compete with airbus or boeing.They do make some nice jets , jungle jets

  4. Depends on the mission profile, the A320 and the 737-800 i would say are evenly matched, though the order books seems to show that the A320 is preferred.

    As for the 737-900and A321, the 737-900 will be more efficient on longer range missions while the A321 will be more efficient on shorter missions carrying more people.

  6. i hate flying on the screaming metal deathtraps called airbus's. The 737's also have yoke controls, and the a320 and a321 have joysticks, which i heard are not very good. a boeing airliner will always beat an airbus.

  7. Antes que nada ,pido disculpas por no hacerlo en " ingles " lo hablo ,lo leo y lo entiendo sin problemas pero la escritura es fatal ,es lo que me faltó y es mas,  lo puedo hacer , pero con muchas faltas de ortografía.

    Me quedo con mi DC-3 y de tener dinero de sobra , no pensaría un instante en comprarme uno.

    Estoy seguro que le 737-800 es estupendo y tres maquinas dan mas garantía ,pero las nuevas generaciones se imponen tanto por sus perfomanses y la instrumentación ,pero tengo entendido que hay DC-3  con pantallas  "EFIS"  y.........dale con el DC-3 ,pero disculpen es mi viejito querido.

  8. Depends on what the airline decides to use the plane for. If you were doing trans cons the 737 would be better but if you wanted to do shorter flights the A320/321 would be better since it has a lower MTOW and caries less fuel.

  9. prefiero los boeing y embraer ... por que sus mandos son pedestal... no me gusta mucho lo del joistick.. creo q una emergencia... y tener viento cruzado en ese momento me sentira mas seguro con  pedestal q con joistick...saludos

  10. i prefere the 737-800 no doubt the a320 is smaller than the 737-800

    737-900ER for mid-long distance ex los angles -New york Perth-Brisbane also the 737-900ER can fly across the alantic with out a fuel stop

    A321 for high density routes  wold be good in the Japan/United States Europe/Asia and Australia because they seat more

    The Embraer 190 has more seating pitch than the A319 and also the 190 has larger windows
