Buddy, it has been a cool year throughout the continent, relative to the 20th century average, not just the last decade.

How can warming have caused the floods and wildfires if it's not warm?

The floods were probably the result of La Nina altering the jet stream, no?

Last I checked we didn't cause La Nina.

Notice no one trying to be credible is using the "local weather doesn't equate to global averages" argument any more.  I guess they've noticed this colder than average trend IS global...

Raining like crazy down here in the South...can't use drought in our neck of the woods as an example either.  What's a AGW proponent to do??

Shhh!  The climate refugee zombies are all down in the Boston Big Dig tunnels stirring the air up with their arms and causing temporary local global cooling.  Energy is conserved.  They are doing this in an attempt to trick you into believing the crisis is over.  Don't fall for it.  Short term weather is manipulated by sinister forces like Goldman Sachs, however, long term climate (6 to 10 years) is easy to predict....like radioactive decay.
