Question:

767-300 Boston-LAX American Airlines?

I looked online and found that in january and february 2008 american is flying 767s from bos-lax. They almost never do this and this is the first time in years i've seen this. why is this?

  1. Alot of people might have booked the flight so instead of using more smaller jets they use fewer big jets


  2. Because the 757s (which they normally use) are getting remodeled, and they have a few 763s sitting on the ground during the day at BOS so it makes the most sense to use these.

  3. Maybe AA is anticipating a lot of air travelers during those months. They normally take 767-200's which is the normal version, but i dont know why they would take the stretch version to do a basic continental flight. Maybe there getting new triple-7's to do inter-continetal flights so they are getting rid of the aging 767's.
