I have a 775i65G board with a Pentium D 2.80GHz as a processor. I have recently upgraded the memory modules from 256 MB to two new and identical 1GB DDR400 Kingston Memory module and it crashes and gives a BSOD 0x0000008E. The memory cards are working fine since it was tested with different slots and it does not crash. I have formatted the computer already and it still crashes. Sometimes the error is 0x00000050. If I try to connect the old memory, 256MB DDR400, with one of the 1GB DDR400 module, it works fine. Issue occurs when the two Kingston Modules are installed.
