  1. you should try not being "mean"

    that wont get you anyone

    Now !!!!!!!!

  2. Dont worry about there being to much homework. Junior High classes are harder than elementry but teachers are always really understanding and usually give you plenty of help and time to work on stuff in class. You will have some homework, but not too much.

Hang up picture of you and your friends on the inside of your locker door and maybe even a small mirror just to check your hair or whatever. You should also find out if the lockers have shelves or if you need to bring them. Other than that you will be keeping your school stuff in your locker so keep it  pretty cleared out.

Also if you dont really know anyone i would try and get involved in some kind of sport or extracurricular activity. You will meet a lot of new people and get involved in your school and you may even find something that you are really good at.

Be really friendly and try not to be shy, most likely people will be interested in meeting you because you are the new girl. and dont worry im sure there will be a lot of other people in your possition. Smile a lot and try to make friends with everyone. Also dress nice and try to look your best, just dont over do it or people will think you are stuck up...

  3. its just like 6th grade!!!!

  4. hey, i just finished 7th.

    tips:

it doesnt matter if your new, most people make new friends from the other school feeding into middle school.

just introduce yourself and be friendly and youll make friends dont worry

    expect:

unfortunatly, there is a lot of homework. but you find your way to all of your classes fairly easy within a week.

    locker:

    you dont need anything.

    personally, shelves totally help

also magnets and dry erase boards are nice to display reminders

    good luck!

  5. Congratulations on graduating.

    Tips:

    1. Be Yourself of course, dont change for anyone

    2. Don't get in the eighth graders way

    3. Always keep the following in your gym locker:

    Deodorant

    Gym Clothes of course

    Lotion

    Air Freshener

    4. Never forget your gym clothes at home, or you will have to run in your regular clothes and you will be sweaty and stinky for the rest of the day. Especially if your gym class is in the beginning of the day.

    5. Know who your real friends are.

    6. Don't be pressured to date. If you are ready, then do it, but if you're not, don't go for it.

    7. Do all your homework

    8. Have your locker combinations and schedule mesmerized by the first month.

    9. Never talk back to the teacher

    10. Keep a purse with you with this stuff inside it:

    Pads

    Cell Phone

Ipod or Mp3 if you have one

    Lip Gloss

    Deodorant

    Tissue

    What To Expect:

    1. The homework load will be alot more then it was before. The amount of homework you got last year is about the amount you will get in each class now, which is about 6-9 classes.

    2. Welcome To Puberty. Kids are starting to go through body changes

    3. If you dont have your period now, you may get it now.

    4. Expect to lose a couple of friends that you had last year

    5. Expect for boys and girls to start dating.

    6. Expect for people to start forming cliques.

What To Put In Your Locker:

    Wallpaper

    Pictures of family/friends

Dry Erase Board to write down reminders

    Your Books

    Mirror

  6. don't worry!! its fun! you should get a buddy that will show u the ropes of ur new school

  7. Oh, all schools are different, these few suggested tips you've given us, none of us can answer.

But rest assured, it will be fun. Just do your best in classes and be yourself---that's really the best advice I can give you. Don't try to do anything out of the ordinary for respect, no, when people like you for who you are, you don't have to pretend to be someone else for the years to come that you're friends with them.

What should you put in your locker now? Usually books and things that you don't need to take home with you. I never really used my locker in middle school and just kind of stuffed everything in my backpack. =)

I bid you good luck. And don't worry, if anything you should be excited; school, as you get older, simply gets more and more fun.

  8. LOL I'm going to 7th grade to and my cuz told me that i shouldn't worry she said that we may get alot of homework depending om what class your in and as for your locker put your really big books and binders in there

  9. Keep your locker neat. It will be easy to get things and reduce stress.

  10. Most importantly, don't be a snob! Treat eveyone with respect and be nice to everyone.. it will pay off trust me, everyone will love you and you will have a bunch of friends and no problems what so ever.. It's all about your character!

about homework, it all depends on your teachers, some give more homework than others, but most likely you won't have that much.. just a little more than elementary.. i don't remember having a lot of homework at all..

about lockers i don't know what to tell you because we never had them.. besides the PE lockers ofcourse.. so can't help you on that one.

    well good luck! =]

  11. My middle school experiance was great! so don't worry =]

    Tips:

    -study for tests

    -do your homework

-do not be affraid to ask teachers for help

-its alot easier to do homework in a quiet place, i tried a bed.. not smart, lol

    -stay organized

    -have fun

    -learn

    -be open minded

    Lockers:

-practice ur comb alot before school starts

-if your worried you'll forget, write the comb and put it in your pocket

    -personalize with pictures and magnets

-keep it organized so you don't have trouble finding things before class

    -lockers are great =]

    Friends:

    - friends are a must through those years, make as many as you can

-if people expect you to change for them and don't except you as you are, they arent your friends

-don't judge people quickly, you'll regret it

-some of these people may be your friends through highschool!

    -be nice and be yourself

    schedules:

-they are easy to read but if you need help ask a kid in a higher grade

Hope I helped! I you want anything else just email or post another Q in ur edit
