  1. First solve for y.

    7x - y = 2

    7x = 2 + y

    7x - 2 = y

    y = 7x - 2

    This is in slope-intercept form. y = mx + b, where m equals the slope and b is the y-intercept.

    m = 7 = (7/1)

    b = -2

  2. First, change it to Y- 7X -2. Then, it gets a lot easier. Your slope should be 7.

    I really hope this helps.

  3. put it into the form y=mx+b

    m is the slope.

    the process:

    2=7x-y

    2+y=7x

    y=7x-2

    m=7

  4. Write it as y - 7x - 2. Now it should be obvious.
