8 DPO - is this Cervical Mucus a good sign?

Question

im 8 dpo am today i checked my cm, it was creamy and stretchy, sort of like ewcm but not clear... is this a good sign?

im currently trying to concieve baby num 1, im due my period this saturday... im praying it dont come and i get a BFP..!!!

I am in a similar situation - 12 dpo - expecting my period on friday. For the past few days, i have been having whitish cm, and today, it was very clear (i dont remember having this kind of cm before AF last month) I also had a really bad backache and headache today. I'm praying this is not pms. Keep us posted, hopefully you get a positive hpt. Good luck to both of us!

your cm sounds to me the type you get when your ovulating.

Following ovulation, you may find that the mucus may quickly return to that thicker, tacky mucus or you may have none at all, leading up to your period. Some women experience a glob of mucus prior to getting their period, which is infertile.

What appears to be EWCM or close enough to it, can appear in patches other than when you are fertile or ovulating. I experienced it myself this month when I was 6 days late! [I'm now 8 days late and still testing BFN =( ...] I wouldn't worry too much about this CM - only time will tell if you've been successful this month!
