Im 32 weeks prego and i was in the doctor yesterday due to lots of cramping and he said that i am 1 cm dialated and that it looks like Im having good contactions but they were not regular, so all last night they were coming and going but not regular, now today i have had 3 in the last 3 hours and they have been at the exact same time every hour. So what Im wondering is if you think i should head to the hospital or wait until they get closer together? Thank you for your help.

  1. Wait it out until they are closer together.

  2. if you are only 32 weeks i would go in its to early to have the baby they need to stop your contractions the baby's lungs are not developed yet.

  3. I'd wait until they are closer together. you don't want to have to be there longer than neccessary.

  4. hi, i think you have a long way to go yet and they may not be proper contractions,i would phone your labor ward they would advise you on when to go to hospital or waite until you are having them every 20 mins if your waters havent broken ,all the best

  5. I would wait it out. If you are only having one an hour, you should be okay.  If you get more than 5 in an hour, then you should head to the hospital.  At the hospitals here, they only monitor you for an hour.

  6. wait till they are 5-3 mins apart, and most hospitals wont admit you until you are 4 cm dialated

  7. wait a little longer they will just end up telling you its not time and send you home congrats and good luck

  8. i promise you, if you go to the hospital they will send you home.  wait until they are 10 minutes apart and head over there.  they won't do anything for you until you are 5 minutes apart.

  9. I would wait until they're closer together, about 4-5 minutes apart and lasting around 1 minute in duration.

Of course, if your water breaks or you see signs of bleeding, go to the hospital immediately.  Otherwise, unless your doctor has expressed concern over your contractions, just wait them out.  Bank some sleep hours and nutritional eating while you can!

Good luck to you and your little one who will be here soon!

  10. wait a little longer just incase they come to a hult altogether,

    good luck hun

  11. I'd wait until they are closer, you could be days away. 1cm dialated at this stage is not uncommon. I waited until I was 5-6 mins apart in contractions before getting to the hospital and still had to wait 9 hours until my son was finally born. Hang in there and if you are unsure you can always call your doctor.

  12. It sounds as though you could be getting dehydrated. Drink at least 3   8-ounce glasses of water, eat something light, take a warm (not hot!) bath or shower, try taking a nap. If they go away they aren't the real deal.

This type of contraction where they start and then stop is called Braxton Hicks contractions. Dehydration causes them to hurt more.

    Birth blessings to  you.
