Look in the phone books and look up Billiard Parlors, Pool Rooms,  and Game Rooms. Than call and ask about it

Don't know where you are from but most places have a couple pool rooms in town. Call or visit them.

The owner or players there would know what bars in town hold tournaments on what days and nights.

Just go to poolhalls in your area and ask if they have weekly tournaments.  Most of them do and they will tell you when they are.
