8 days left?

Question

My son has 3 more days and today and 4 days next week of school and he will be out.

I have him (7 year old)

4 year old

and im 29 weeks pregnant and my husband is out of town

I am very uncomfortable, and very tired, what can i do to make the next 11 weeks as smooth as possible and hopefully not to boring for the kids

OH  aish This mommy NEEDS HELP:  I had a friend that had  two children, and we set it up that once a week we would watch  each others two children. Giving each mom a free day each week.  That day you could sleep all day, or read a book day or just pamper yourself buy a little lunch out.  Maybe you could  hang a note in a laundry mat; that always helped me sell things or rent a room or house; so why not a pal; you could give each other info so you could call family or their friends to check out. You need a break. Men do not understand this.  

Maybe a gramma could come a 1/2 day to play with children and let you rest or go out to a lunch.  You must take care of mom.  Sit still  (even in the bathroom) and be in the present moment, the NOW space and get quiet;  doing these little breaks will clear your mind and allow you to go back to your kiddies and love and enjoy bringing these little people up to teens then adult life.

The seven year old should never be used as a sitter; that is too much like mothering at 7.  

The finding another mother that has same amount of kiddies as you even a pediatricions  office, word could be spread around because they know momies get stressed and a day a week off would be like a BIG RETREAT.

Hope my suggestion helps you or as you sit still, in the Present moment saying,"This is what it is and I am ok with that. I will enjoy the moments with my children and meet their needs. " It will come back to you as their mother. The universe will help you hear your inner voice.  I know I do that now. Did not know about this little vital tidbit until last month.

Love those little ones look at them as blessings not trouble. Do not yell when disaplining ,talk in a calm manner, respect them and they will in turn respect you. My Navy son 23 tells me , you are the best mom because you gave us choices not demand do this Now or Clean up your room Now, you instilled in me the wanting to have  a nice space for my friends to come over.

Camp

When do they start by you

My daughter is going to the town camp

My daughter get out June 15 and it starts the next week

Try to see if your town has a town recreation camp

It is held at school

She will be gone 9 to 3 for six weeks

They go on trips, hang out with friends, go swimming

Art projects, science projects, puzzles. Go for walks if you can and he can collect leaves and then he can make a album with the leaves or draw them when he gets home.

See if your local library has programs during the day for them. You'll be able to sit indoors and he will be busy.

have the 7 year old help you as much as possible around the house and also ask him/her for suggestions on what things they might enjoy doing that involve a lot of moving around on your behalf.  Also get some ideas from them for art projects that they would enjoy doing.  Maybe take them to the park(if you can do it) and let them run around and play.

My 6 year old loves to think up ideas for different things for us to do and alot of them are doing them at the art table or just sitting and reading together or playing some of his favorite board games.  He also keeps his 1 year old brother entertained if I need some time to myself to get a shower or whatever.

Children at this age will surprise us as to all the different ideas they can come up with to help out.  good luck and congratulations on your new addition.
