8 month old Symphonic 20 inch lcd tv turns off.... Hope someone can help me my tv just started

Hope someone can help me my tv just started turning itself off after like 3-5 seconds If I let it sit unplugged it stays on a bit longer then shuts off.  NO timers on no sleep timer nothing Please help I cant afford to have it repaired but I want my tv back.  Thank you  Oh its a symphonic 20inch lcd TV
