8 weeks old kitten...and thunder!?!?

its thundering and lightning out sind right now...

And my 8 week old kitten Luna is scared s.h.i.t.less

She was meowing like crazy...till she found the ice cream buket with a lil bit of hamster food at the bottom that she climed in....she is sitting in there shaking...

What can i do to help Luna??

wrap her in a small blanket or towel and carry her in your arms. try not to walk around to much and pet her gently.

it should make her feel secure.

Try to confort her.Most cats are like that.mine was.I would lay in bed and snuggle with her.It was better than.

I agree with the first poster, to wrap her in a blanket and hold her close. Also, don't make a big deal of the thunder yourself, and the kitten will learn that it's nothing to be afraid of.
