8 weeks pregnant, low progesterone ?

Question

I have 8 weeks pregnant and did labs the other day, my doctor called yesterday and said my progesterone was low and they would be putting me on Prometrium until my 13th week to raise the levels. Does anyone have experience taking this? I miscarried 5 years ago due to O-Rh- blood type then had a healthy daughter 4 years ago.

Hello. I have short luteal phase. Making my body to not produce enough progesterone. Im curently 5weeks 5days. I was put on right after i got my positive. Which was a over a week ago. I have had 3misscariages already. And prometruim plays a huge role  in helping sustain a pregnancy if not to late. I hope all works out for the both of us.
