hey, my 8 year old sister is having trouble making friends at school, for the most part she's really nice, which i think is the problem, she is getting bullied, and says "this girl told my friends that i cant play with them at recess" this and that and she says she had to play by herself at recess today, and she cries before bed.....i was wondering if this is normal behavior for girls, my sister had the same problem last year and it worked itself out i guess...thanks

  1. she needs some thing cool to show them that will atreact attention like if she can say sea turtle in sign language (wich is the coolest sign language word there is) teach her something that no one else knows

  2. i was having the same issue with my 8 year old daughter , she would come home crying that kids are fighting with her and noone likes her.........she shed many tears over it ......

the funny thing was when i spoke to her teachers they couldnt believe it, they said she was one of the most popular kids in the class, and always had a group of friends playing with her at recess, AND  she was one of the leaders in the class.

i realized that she prob needed a little more attention at home and when that happend and i ignored all her complaints.......it pretty much stopped.

hope this helps, its horrible when kids are unhappy in school

  3. My daughter had the same problem , I was able to help her by throwing a special sleep over party, she helped with all the planning and all the girls had a great time.

she is now 10 and it's hard to keep her home, she is always getting calls from her friends asking her to come over.

  4. very very common. It needs to be bought up with the teacher. She will deal with it and they will all get over it. Thats what I did and there havn't been anymore problems. It is usually an insequre kid that says those things
