80's Party help....?

I'm going to an eighties party tonight, I'm sorted for what to wear, a sort of john bender/marty mcfly mix but problem is my head

Of course my friend would have to have the party just as I had my hair cut from long to short so I basically need to find some short eighties style for guys which actually looks eighties and not just ... short!

comb it all forward and do the a flock of seagulls thing or if it's too short do the billy idol thing

depending on how short it is...you could get some spray hair coloring like green, pink, orange and do little spikes of color all over...or else pick up a mullet wig! that would be funny!

I was teen during the 80s and I saw guys spike their hair with lots of gel.  If really want to be radical, spray colors in it, like bright green, bright blue, bright red, etc.  It was what they called punk rock styles.

The 80s were great.
