80's Poll: Duran Duran, A-Ha or Big Country?

A-Ha was basically a one-hit wonder. Duran Duran was for the girls. I definitely preferred Big Country. They just seemed more genuine.

In my teenage world , when they were hot, I thought they were so s**y. More importantly, they were really good .

While A-ha, did do "Take on Me" and  the theme song to "The Living Daylights" and Big Country did a gutsy thing and sang a song with their name in the title:  for me, Duran Duran.

I mean, Rio, A View to A Kill, Notorious, and my abfav (Hungry Like the Wolf) are great songs.

I would go with Duran Duran.  I just like their music the best out of all three.  Not a fan of A-Ha, although their video was cool "at the time".  Not a big fan of Big Country either.

Duran Duran. I really have not heard enough of the others to feel otherwise. I know their big hits, but they shouldn't really be compared with Duran Duran, because they were one hit wonders. At least on this coast.

No particular reason,I just prefer their music more.I quite enjoy a lot of their songs actually.
