  1. Eddie and the Cruisers(top choice), Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Repo Man, Animal House, The Wanderers, Vanishing Point, The Warriors, and Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eigth Dimension

  2. I watched sixteen candles the other day and For Keeps is good.

Fast times at ridgemont high is funny and Adventures in babysitting.

  3. The Goonies  would be number 1 on my list....... others would include

    Lucas

    Clue

    Dead Poet's Society

Wow,  that's about all that just leaps to mind....... Atlthough, if you like silly movies too,  you might try.....

    Yellowbeard

    Ice Pirates

    Either Ghostbuster movie

    Airplane!

Top Secret  (a very early Val Kilmer movie and he does all his own singing!)

    Yep, that's about it.

  4. I don't think Jennifer Grey was really in any other good movie,

    you MUST watch Footloose!

And Real Genius is a good one, also sixteen candles, some kind of wonderful and wisdom.

i can't believe all these movies were made before i was born!

  5. Say Anything-made me cry my eyes out...great movie, with a YOUNG John Cusack in it...yummers.

  6. A good post-teen Molly Ringwald movie is "Betsy's Wedding" about her wedding, her sister is played by her "Breakfast" detention mate Ally Sheedy.

There is this really good Jennifer Grey movie called "If the Shoe Fits" which also stars Rob Lowe. Its kind of a cinderella story about a mousy shoe designer and her pompous but dreamy designer boss. But its not on dvd, just vhs.

As for Kerri Green, I would recommend "Summer Rental", which is about the vacation from h**l with John Candy as the dad.

I'm surprised no one mentioned "Superstar" with Molly Shannon. That one is chock full of 70's-80's movie moments.

  7. Red Dawn (Jennifer Grey)

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (Keanu Reeves)

    Better Off Dead (John Cusack)

    Meatballs

    Caddyshack

    Animal House

    St Elmo's Fire

    American Graffiti

    Valley Girl (Nicholas Cage)

    Tuff Turf

    The Outsiders

    Streets of Fire

    ..to name a few.  Enjoy!
