What is the name or style of art that was probably done in the 80's or early 90's of a woman's face and sometimes body that is really simple with like sleek lines? She'll usually have like red lips and smokey eyes. Sometimes a hat pulled over the side of her face..? Sorry, I know it sounds vague but I can't find a picture anywhere. It almost looks cartoonish....

No name but it was just the fashion in the 80s, it was a direct response to the naturalness the hippie 70s had.

Its 80s Retro style if I had to guess.

Drew Art Deco was a popular international design movement from 1925 until 1939.

"New Image" and Neo-Expressionist  were the popular Art movements in the 80s, but that does not really explain your question

  3. Art Deco

    They made it minimalistic...

BJtheGreat the only reason i suggest Art Deco was because of the hats and positions and shapes of the faces. The fashion and style was very pop

but I do think it was inspired by Art Deco women: http://images.acclaimimages.com/_gallery...
