80 pounds and scottland possible??

we ( me and a fren) are going to scottland (edinburgh) tomorro... and is it possible to get around with a budget of 80 pounds per person... we shall b there for 4 days..

we r staying at a frens place so it wont cost us ... and we have already got the tickets... for remainig things to do ... is it enough ???

Edinburgh's a tourist-trap - entry to a lot of the attractions is expensive, as is eating out.  It costs a whopping £12 entry for an adult to get into the castle, and £9.75 for the Royal Yacht Britannia.  You could use up your budget pretty quickly.

If you like galleries, they're mostly free.  The Botanic Gardens are free, but there's a charge for entry to the glasshouses.  Ask your frens? in Edinburgh where they would go.

So long as you don't eat out all the time as Edinburgh can be quite expensive for dining etc, and don't get tempted by all the shops! I would recommend bring a bit more than that for 4 days though but you can get by on it yeah. If you're thinking of getting the train or anything they're quite resonably priced, more so than buses around there.

(P.S It's Scotland with 1 T lol)

I need more information: are you budgeting for 80 pounds A DAY per person, or you only have 80 pounds altogether to spend over the 4 days?

£80 should be enough as long as you don't go mad. The buses are thecheapest in the UK. £2.50 for a day's unlimited travel.
