whats that suppose to mean

its says

800x600

4:3 native, 16:9 compatible???

its a projector by the way... it doesn't make sense....

  1. Without knowing what model you have it could be two things:

    1) The projector has an "full/anamorphic" mode that can stretch an anamorphic image from a DVD player set to 16:9 display

    2) The projector can take a widescreen (possibly higher than native) signal from a VGA or component input and scale it to its native resolution, maintaining the aspect ratio and only having to turn on the pixels containing the image. This can give you more vertical resolution (if using an anamorphic method) and increase brightness.


  2. its to do with the size of the picture but the 800x600 is not compatible
