Question:

80lbs;needs to gain 10lbs?

alright my little cousin is 13 and only 80 pounds [she does eat] and the doctor said she needs to gain 10 pounds; but she wants to do something else the just eating fast food; and suggestions?

  1. maybe try gaining a lot of muscle.. being muscle weighs more than fat

    and she doesnt have to eat JUST junk too gain weight

    she can eat well balanced meals. which would be a way better idea, becuase otherwise the 10lbs shes gaining will go right to her belly and that wont look nice :)


  2. Tell her to get smoe weights and then do this:

    20 sit ups in morning

    after schoool lift weights till it starts hurting a tiny bit so she doesn't over do her self.

    run with weights but tell her to eat a tad bit more so she doesnt loose weight from the running.

    at night tell her to lift weights and sit ups and all that stuff as much as she can do till she thinks she should stop so she doesnt over do her self.  

  3. muscle weighs more than fat

    so if she develops more muscle by exercising more, she will gain more weight in a healthy way, but of course this will take some time.

    good luck!

    maybe she can just try eating more of the foods she likes that are healthy like nuts, fruits and veggies. if she eats enough, she will gain weight.
