  2. if there's drinking involved a Pinata is a must!!! Boccie Ball is fun too. Weekend at Bernies always cracks me up. This a great game that sounds too short, but trust me it's not. It's called Skate or Pay. Any more than 4 players up to how many doesn't matter. The more the merrier. Each player starts with 3 one dollar bills in front of them and a pot or Kitty in the middle of the table. You use three dice and get one roll of all three together per turn. If you roll a 6 pay $1 forward (left) if you roll a 5 pay $1 back (right) if you roll a 4 pay $1 kitty. Even if you roll 6,5,4 in one roll, don't worry, your not out because everybody is passing forward and back. Eventually it all goes to the kitty leaving one person left with money on the table to claim the pot. He/she does not roll again, just colllects winnings. wish i could come

  3. I've only got a bit of an idea for the food, sorry. The idea that i came up with is: You would make cookies or biscuits in the shape of music notes, big sunglasses.e.t.c..well, anything with an 80's theme really!

4 the presents, I was thinking that you could give your friends a big pair of sunglasses each, and maybe chocolate or something to go with them.

For the movie you could have any movie from the 80's..maybe Grease or something like that?? (Grease might be from the late 70's,, but it could still work!)

For the games you could play singstar with PS2. If you want the party to be REALLY good, you should buy a ps2 if you don't already have one, and buy singstar 80's with the microphones. It is a fantastic kareoke game for the Play Station 2 where you get scores for singing, and if you buy the special 80's version, you can sing along to over 30 fantastic 80's songs!

Also, if you have a sort of disco dance type thing, you can listen to loads of 80's songs!

    Hope you like my answer!

    xxxxxxx

  4. Twister would be a fun game to play.

  5. First, Emekitty, we didn't do disco in the 80's that was the 70's ( I was there on both counts).

For food, anything you might have today will work.

Movie: Dirty Dancing, Thriller with Michael Jackson, Children of the Corn, Fame, Breakfast Club, Top Gun,  Sixteen Candles, Adventures in Babysitting, An Officer and A Gentleman, Back to the Future 1 and 2, Footloose.

Games: most anything, Trivial Pursuit was big then.

Music: Motley Crue, Van Halen, Huey Lewis and the News, Blondie, early Madonna, The Who, Micheal Jackson, Prince, Duran Duran, The Police,  Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Bon Jovi, Dire Straights, Bananarama, Pat Benetar, Air Supply, The Bangles

Clothing:  Hot Pinks with Lime green, big stripes, big belts, high heeled pumps also worn with jeans, jeans were mostly whitewashed and tight (guys and girls), big hair, leggings in all colors, Levi 501's were all the rage, Lots of color in everything, big bangle colorful earrings, plenty of eye makeup

Watch any of the movies I listed and you'll have an idea of the way we dressed and all that.  Have fun with your party.  Hope it's a hit!

  6. well there goes the suprise, I know about it now but thanks lol

  7. if its the 80s, you definitely gotta make sure you have the music!!!  Here's some songs to help you out:

    Blondie - Call Me

Kool and the Gang - Celebration

    Steve Miller - Abracadabra

    Michael Jackson - Billie Jean

    Prince - When Doves Cry

    Madonna - Like a Virgin

Bangles - Walk Like an Egyptian

U2 - With or Without You

    Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistable

Billy Joel - We Didn't Start the Fire

Movies - Can't go wrong with Back to the Future series!

  8. spend the bottle.

    something simular to that.

  9. Ok, remember the things that made the 80's THE 80'S:) Fat Boy shoe laces, 16 Candles, and Donkey Kong! haha! So, for food, I would definitly incorporate some cheeze whiz somehow, dessert......hmmm....maybe some pie like in "Revenge of the nerds" haha! , presents, just remember fat boy shoe laces can be used as ribbon, movie......easy.....16 Candles, games......Twister, Operation ;) Oh ya, don't forget Spin the Bottle or 5 min. in heaven (the closet with the opposite s*x or same) ! hehe! It sounds super fun! So, have fun. I hope I helped a little!
