80th Birthday Party Clacton on Sea?

I'm trying to organise an 80th meal for my Nan who lives in Clacton on Sea, Essex. As i don't live near by i am struggling to find somewhere. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is nice and serves traditional english food? There is going to be about 17 of us going including children.

Does it have to be Clacton? Am in Colchester and there's some lovely places here.....or any country pub just outside Clacton? Try yell.com, hope she has a lovely day x

hello, you could try either : the robin hood pub- they serve roasts etc, or esplanade on the seafront, they always have loads of old people in there, or try mafias in holland on sea just up the road from clacton, they cook all fresh food there, oh i  have been reminded by my better half you could try terraza in rosemary road, they are a friendly family run business , i've been there for a birthday meal 40+ people , it was good!

depends on when it is?if its mild enough and dry y not a barbecue on th beach?a lot cheaper than hiring out a room,the kids would love it and you could bring your nans comfy armchair  and shed be the queen of the night!
