821 efc score, eligible for grant?

where could I check or see a efc scale to see if I am eligible for a grant? Please help!! any comments, advice, info, suggestion are welcome!! Thank you for your time and attention.

  1. Well it depends on several factors. One of which being what state you live in/are planning on going to school in. There are many grants that are strictly doled out by the state, so since I don't know where you're planning on going, it's a little hard to tell.

    Pell grants go in order of need-base, so those with the greatest need will, obviously, get the largest amount. You still have a pretty low EFC, so I'm sure you will get SOME grant money, but exact dollar amounts I can't help you with without some additional information.

    The vast majority of the time, you aren't going to know how much grant money you will get until the school processes your financial aid award. And since grant money is on a first come-first served basis, it's not something you can say for sure you'll get (amount-wise).
