84 Honda shadow shaft drive . Motor off bike in gear rear wheel still spins with out clutching?

I have been told its the clutch the final drive the transmission

Can sombody tell me on line what the most likely problem is

Any of the three What does it do in gear running clutch out just set there ??

try neutral not in gear

I replaced the drive shaft / pinion cup in my Valkyrie, last year.

Engine on, in gear, clutch out, it made a h**l of a racket and wouldn't move,

It would help if you'd state how the bike was behaving when the problem began.
