85 Chevy Custom 3/4 ton?

Its got a 350, glass packs, very minimal rust, 88,000 miles and its a long bed..There asking $1,800. What would be a reasonable price to offer?

  1. are you going to use it for what its built for... or are you looking to just drive it daily... with the price of gas i would get something more econmic,... but if you had to have it i think that it sounds like a fair price, just be careful and ask alot of questions that would pertain to how it runs, brakes, steering, trans., ask what they used it for,... and why are they selling it now... good luck!


  2. The most important question is, do you actually like it? It has low miles considering the price and age. Are you certain that it didn't roll over to 188,000 miles? If you can afford the 20 mpg or lower and lack of creature comforts, I would offer $1500.

    Seriousely, don't be afraid, anything with a v8 is NOT in demand at all, particularly one that is 23 years old, it's a plus that it has low miles, but it's an old gas guzzler.

  5. take a look at Kelly blue book website, It will tell you the blue book value as long as you know the options it has. Or check on ebay motors see what any others are going for.
