  1. Check with the Oregon Hunting laws or contact the local/state authorities and ask.

The 870 is almost a perfect hunting platform. I have four barrels for mine. 30" VR, R-C, Ducks/Geese, 28" VR Mod fixed choke, Grouse, Dove, 20" Fully rifled, rifle sights, sabot slug for Deer and Feral Hogs, 18" plain with bead sight: rifled slugs & Buck Shot home defense

  2. Well, depends on your State's laws.  In Texas six plus one is no problem for deer.  Shell limitations for shotguns only apply while hunting migratory bird.

  3. The Remington 870 is probably the most popular shotgun of all time. If you have a good vented rib barrel, and a slug barrel, there isn't too much you can't do.

  4. Yes, it also depends on state laws too though.

  5. check your local/state laws, to be 100% sure.

  6. Yep.  If you did an after market modification and it didn't include a plug, a section of hardwood doweling works nice.  The drawback is that you will have to measure and cut it yourself, but it will be easy to find and may cost less.
