8703e by BlackBerry?

Is this a good phone? I like to listen to music on my phone too, not with an mp3 player just an application called Pandora. I'm sure that'll work right? But what I 'm really asking is can I plug earphones into it to listen at the gym?

Secondly, I like the pics on my MySpace and would like to set them my background/wallpaper on my cell. The info about the phone says you can save picture files etc, will I be able to use this as my screensaver?

Does anyone know about the GPS navigation it is supposed to have?

Thanks all:)

  1. I would recommend a newer device than the 8703e device. The 8703e doesn't have removable storage so so storing pictures and music can be tricky. And I don't know if that Pandora application will work with the BlackBerry.

You might check out the newer BlackBerry Curve device (8330 if you are using Verizon, Sprint or Alltel). This device uses a microSD memory card so you can store music, pictures and videos on your device. It also comes with a camera as well.

You can use pictures as backgrounds on the 8703e, but if you store too many things in the device's main memory you will run out of memory, which can cause other issues. It is better to get a BlackBerry device with removable storage (i.e. the Pearl 81xx series; BlackBerry 88xx series; or Curve 83xx series). The 8703e is a great device, but not for media.
