88 S-10 transmission pan removal?

Question

I am having complications removing and placing my tranny pan in place....I have a transmission support membee at the back of the pan holding me up....I can not lift the pan straight off.....the problem is getting the pan back on....the filter will not aloow me to slid eit on the pan....I have been trying to out the pan on with the filter in the pan and trying with my fingers to slide the filter into the pmup.....I viewed some transmission photos and I did not see the same cross memberts under the truck....

Just jack the transmission off the support about an inch.
