88 mossberg question\choke?

Thanks to all who helped me with my last question but I have one more. As I said before I have a 88 mossberg by maveric and I do have a choke that came with the gun. My question is do I need to remove that choke to fire 00 buck shot or will I be ok to fire..just dont want it to blow up in my face..thanks again!

Yes, you can choke down OO Buck.

I certainly would not use a FULL choke

Improved Cylinder or Modified are better.
