89 Civic Replacement Piston Ring Size

Question

Honda piston rings are sold in color codes not sizes.

So..if I obtain a cylinder measurement, how do I determine which size replacement rings I need?

We were going to use plastigage to determine the oversize necessary, but with the color codes, its confusing me how to know what to get.

plastigage is used for bearings. but you should be able to look at a chart and see a range for the piston ring applications.
