just installed and notice bike hesitates on slow take off, also dies after bike running on idle??????

You changed the way the bike breathes. The bike sucks in air (intake). Air mixes with gas for combustion (regulated amount mixed), then expells exhaust creating back pressure.

You changed the process so there's no telling what else is affected. Fuel delivery and air intake are directly affected by switching exhaust. A slip on usually doesn't create enough of a concern for most bikes but it did for yours. switch to a fancy air filter and you may have to do something to the carbs/jets.
