  1. #1 global warming is a myth

#2 8th grade you should be studying earth science, not living environment

  2. Check out former Vice President Al GOre's book "An Inconvenient Truth."

  3. The truth of the matter is that Polar Bears are doing fine.  It is only a hypothetical chance that waming might endanger them by melting the sea ice too quickly that this is even an issue.  Polar Bears survived though previous warm periods and there is no reason to think they won't survive through this one.  Do you want to tell the truth or be a good little soldier and help spread propaganda of the left.  You are young and there is a good chance you will learn that your teachers are pushing an agenda that has very little to do with the truth.  You notice that Benjamin says the US Government predicts that 2/3 of polar bears will die by middle of the century.  Ask yourself, just who is the US Government and what do they know about Polar Bear population 50 years from now.  The US Government knows nothing.  It is not a person.  People in the government can make predictions but that doesn't mean the US government believes it.  It is a rediculous statement and claim for that reason as well as the lack of evidence to support it..  They can't tell you the weather 2 months from now.

  4. Go to Nationalgeographic.com.  Type in "polar bears" in the search box.  There are several choices for you to look at.

  5. polar bears survived the holecene warm period, they will be fine.

  6. Polar bears are not dying, the movie you watched was a piece of propaganda.

Polar bear populations are actually increasing, this based on population studies in Alaska by the Alaska Department of Wildlife  and in Canada. Don't believe everything you read, see or hear from what you would assume to be reliable sources.

  7. Haha, I don't have to do any that and i'm in the 8th grade!

    Sucks for you dude.

  8. Hahaha. Polar Bears survived the 3,000 year Holocene Maximum, where temperatures were 4-5 degrees C higher than today. A Canadian Press Newswire story earlier this year reported that, in three Arctic villages, polar bears “are so abundant there’s a public safety issue.” The local polar bear population reportedly increased from about 2,100 in 1997 to as many as 2,600 in 2004. Inuit hunters (search) wanted to be able to kill more bears because they are “fearsome predators.” There were about 5,000 Polar Bears in the 1950s, now there are 25,000. All the pictures you see of melting ice are from Summer. It's like taking pictures of falling leaves in Autumn and saying that the trees are dying.

  9. search it on google or yahoo??????? and good luk

  10. While some polar bear populations are increasing because of restrictions on hunting,[1] almost everyone agrees that the overwhelming threat to polar bear populations is the loss of sea ice.[2][3] The Arctic is expected to be ice free during summer months by mid century. By some accounts this will happen as early as 2013.

Polar bears are considered marine animals because of their integral link to the sea and to sea ice. They live much of their lives on the sea ice; it serves as a moving platform from which they hunt seals – the mainstay of their diet.[4][5]

Because of loss of arctic sea ice, the US Government predicts that Alaska's entire population of polar bears, along with 2/3 of the world's polar bears will be gone by the middle of the century.[6]

    Edit:

Note to jim Z… Read the article and you will see that the US agency in question is the Department of the Interior’s U.S. Geological Survey. Here are other recent studies by the USGS on the issue of polar bear populations and arctic sea ice:

Take a look… Decide for yourself. It’s ok to be skeptical, but to throw out good science just because it was commissioned by the US Government is just being paranoid! Will you throw out your refund check simply because it was printed by the US Treasury?

  11. Just tell the teacher, one ate your homework.
