8th grade Homeschool Computer discs?

Does anyone know of some good 8th grade computer disc and books for home school.

Some I can buy on ebay.

I use Teaching Textbooks for math, GREAT PROGRAM!!! it shows how to do every problem on the CD! I used SOS (Switched on Schoolhouse) for a while, but i didn't like that program at all compared to Teaching textbooks! I'm not sure if u can buy it on ebay or not..... you'll have to check!

SOS has already been mentioned.  Teaching Textbooks is taught via the text, and CD-rom lectures:

Apologia has their entire texts (at least for high school) in CD-rom form.  You can use it alone, or with the text.  We're going to do the CD-rom version in the fall.

I bid on some Apologia stuff last week on Ebay.  I've never tried to get Teaching Textbooks there, but they may have some.

We use an online curriculum, so we don't use CD's; we have an online subscription to the curriclum site.

That depends - what subjects are you looking for, and do you want a Christian or secular curriculum?

Switched On Schoolhouse (SOS) is a very good program, and all on computer discs; I believe they come in grades 3-12, every main subject plus several electives.  They are from a Christian company.

I'm not aware of any beyond those, though I'm sure they exist.  Maybe someone else will have more suggestions for you.
