8th grade graduation party HELP!!?

Okay, so I am having an 8th grade grad. party and i need some ideas...

so far i dont know what my budget is but i do know there can be at least 40 people invited...

we have a pool and we are renting a joust area for $250.00

WHAT OTHER ENTERTAINMENT THINGS CAN WE HAVE

ANY FUN THINGS TO KEEP THEM BUSY?

what are good ideas/decorations

what foods

what are some good ideas for party hand outs to give while they leave

anycool ideas?? PLZ HELP

i know that water is included like water balloons and water guns anything else?

Getting past 8th grade isn't graduating.  It's going from 8th to 9th grade, nothing more.  If you want to have an 'end of school" party then go for it.  Getting past 8th grade means nothing.  In California most teachers can't pass an 8th grade equivalency test if that tells you anything.  Party on but save the term "graduating" for high school and college.
