8th grade honors...?

I don't know what to do...I'm going to 8th grade and they offered me to be in honors for English and World Geography.Last year in the 7th grade most of my classes were advanced. Is honors harder than advanced? Will there be more homework? Also i really dont want to go to 8th grade honors English because it will be the same teacher i had last year...every week she would make us do an essay or something really stupid involving words...Shes always like "im going to prepare you for college" and stuff. For World Geography its a new teacher and alot of students say hes a good teacher. So should i take it the classes?

Yes you should most definitely take honors.

It prepares u for high school, and if u do well,

then u can take higher class in high school

I would recommend highly to do it, since it wont count against ur gpa if u dont do well cuz ur only in 8th grade

im in advanced and honors, its diff in alg 1.

but yea just a little not that much harder

hey me too am going to 8th grade but i dont have those kind of honors at my school     i'm thinking honors is going to be hard than advance since it like the next lvl so more work T_T  Well for english i thinks that depends on how well ur english is and that ur skill r good enought to get into high school and so on     New teacher uh......... hm.... well if i was to chose i well go since it well be ur last year in middle school u should want some fun right ^_^

Wow what school do you go to? I am going into 8th grade too and i am doing honors spanish and honors giomotry. Take the classes Challenge yourself. Thats what colleges like to see: you go outside your comfort zone

You should try to take honors classes will pay off in the end. You will have a better chance to get into a college.
