  1. 4more

  2. Wow. I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that this is 8th grade math. My cousin got this sort of assignment, in, maybe fourth grade

  3. its a joke peoples

  4. 1. 288 / 24 = 12, meaning 12 players per team. If the number of teams is reduced by 6, 288 / 18 = 16 players per team. So there will be 4 more.

    2. Odd numbers are numbers that are not divisible by two. So you're looking for numbers that end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9. From your list, the odd numbers are 49 and 81.

  5. ok

    1)  Take the 288 players and divide by 24 teams = 12 players per team

Take the 288 players and divide by 18 teams (which you get from

subtracting the 24 teams by 6 because you reduced the teams.)

             =16 players per team

Now take the 12 players from the first calculation and compare it with the 16 players from the second calculation, so 4 more players were added to each team.

The answer is.... b) 4 more

    2) Remember odd numbers are those numbers that can't be divided by two evenly, meaning you'll always have a reminder. For example take the number 81 from the problem. If you divide by 2, you will get 40.5. 40.5 is not a whole number with the .5 there, so 81 is an odd number. An easier way to identify odd numbers is to look at the number in the ones place, 81<  (That's me trying to point at the ones place)

All odd numbers have either 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 in the ones place, so look for them.

The answer is... 49 and 81.

  6. 1 = b (4 more)

    #2 = 49,81

  7. 1 - d)6 fewer
