  1. a. what is her walking rate?  200 meters a minute or 3.333 meters a second

    b. at this rate, how long does it take her to walk 10 meters?   3 seconds duh :) 1. Hoshi walks 10 meters in 3 seconds

    c. Suppose she walks this same aret for 50 seconds. How far does she walk?  50 x 3.333 = your answer

  2. a. We have to find how long she walks per second. 10/3 = 3.33m/s

    b. Question says she takes 3 secs to walk 10 meters, so 3 secs.

    c. We found she walks 3.33m/s, so 50*3.33 = 166.67m

  3. a. Her walking rate (speed essentially) is 10/3=3.3333333...metres per second.

    b. You are told how long it takes her to walk 10 metres to start with which is 3 seconds.

    c. Then you know the meters per second so 50 times this will give the metres per 50 seconds so its 500/3 or 166.6666666 metres.

I'm english so I'll spell metres like this :)  Hope this helps good luck with the 8th grade.
