8th grade.....?

Question

This year I'm going into eigth grade/ in 7th grade...it was the worst year of my life. I lost some friends for things that there friends made up about me, drama happened, and some people just didn't like who I was...meanwhile others were obsessed lol. I'm going to change just a lil bit by having some makeup, clothes from a different place, and just not get involved into drama....was eigth grade good for you? Did you do the same thing that I'm doing....do you think things will get better?

My 8th grade class was boring. I had to admit that it was the worse year ever because I was stuck with stupid people. Now I just finished my freshman year and going to be a sophomore next year.

Yeah, seventh and eighth grade have always been dramatic for most people. I guess that eighth grade was alright with me, to be honest with you I kind of made some sacrifices. Like I used to care a whole lot about what people thought of me but then I decided that stuff like that really didn't matter. I worked really hard in eighth grade so that I could get into a really good high school (and I did) and I ended up getting straight As the entire year. I guess that I didn't really do any of the things that you did. Of course, there's nothing wrong with experimenting with makeup or wearing clothes from a different place, that's actually very good. I think it's great that your making these changes, I'm sure that eighth grade will be a great experience for you. Just remember to always be yourself and work hard to achieve your goals. And always remember that it doesn't matter what people think of you, what matters most is what you think of yourself. I'm sure that you're at the right path and that things will definitely get better for you.

i think things will get better for youu(: i went through that too. im also going into 8th grade ..  but 7th grade was when i started to shop at expensive clothing stores and wear makeup, and straighten my hair, and stuff like thattt. i made alot more friends. to be honest though, the drama isn't going to stop it's only gonna get worse. but still, things should get betterr. good luckkkk[;

~~My eighht grade year was a tad better than my 7th grade year. However, from the ninth grade year on school was a blast. So get involved, make friends with a variety of different people, activities are great to make closer friends, concentrate on your academics and set yourself up for great high school study habits, and it will be more enjoyable. I found all this out in ninth grade. Stay away from the cliques who love gossip and trouble and just be friends with everyone!~~

8th grade was the best year... so far im going to be a freshman this year i was a teacher pet and everyone loved me i definetly did start wearing makeup my 8th eyeliner mascara and foundation and guys like makeup but the best tip is to make it look like your not wearing any! good luck!

Please don't change who you are naturally. Middle school was one of the most awkward times for me. I wasn't confident and comfortable in who I am until I got to college. Odds are, you will only still be friends with a few people in college that you are friends with now. Just be yourself,and you will be fine

my grade 8 was like ur grade 7! :O!

but when i went into grade 9, i met this really nice kid who i never really knew, and know we are like best friends, and im friends with his whole 'group' :) the important thing is to remember to not change who u r just to make some friends :) if someone likes u for who u r, ur gonna have a good time at school
