9/10 year old still wetting bed?!?

Question

a girl(friends daughter) keeps wetting the bed and pooping herself. at times she thinks its funny. and thinks its okay she has been grounded many many times yelled at yet she still is wetting and tries to hide the underwear full of pee .

could something be wrong?! they ask her why she does it she says she didnt want to get up ?! is she just being lazy or what are you thought thanks.

I agree with guest 4814 - my 8 year old daughter wets and soils the bed - and this tends to follow if she has been on the toilet before going to bed. When she gets off and hasnt done a poo she does it in her knickers in bed. As for wetting she says sometimes she wakes when she is already wetting but just continues to wet in her bed untill she is done then goes back to sleep.I know she is often being lazy and wets the bed instead of going to the toilet.
I am considering putting her back into diapers.
