1. Why do people say it was a "miracle" they survived? I mean, I beleive in miracles etc but if it was one... Why did so many people STILL die? If more died than survived how is it a miracle? (not in a bad way, but everything should be a miracle)

2. How did USA find out it was Osama Bin Laden? & where is he now?

  1. I live in Queens, NY

    1. It was the primaries that day in New York. Many people were voting that morning, therefore they were to arrive at work late. Normal working hours 9-5. First plane hit at 8:48 am. The towers hold 50,000 people. Most were not at work yet. If the towers would have been full the lose would have been a lot greater. Kids were back at school. Summers camps go on day trips to the WTC on a daily basis. My daughters were there just 2 weeks prior on a trip. Most of the people did die that were in the buildings but for anyone to survive that collapse was a miracle.

    2. Osama who? You will have to send a letter to congress for that one.

    3. I have a friend that survived and received a metal for saving lives. He is an architect for the Port Authority. While coming down the stairs, he heard screams of help coming from people that were trapped inside an elevator. He ran back up the stairs to an area where he knew they were doing construction, got a crowbar and with the help of other people pried the elevator doors open.

  2. 1. Usually an event becomes a 'miracle' because of a seeming imbalance, or a general feeling of good luck. It's a way of expressing gratitude.

    2. I don't remember how they found out who. Maybe he (they) claimed responsibility in support of the cause. Most remember chillingly the anti-American sentiment put out from that part of the world.

    3. We were all there, in spirit. We ached and bled, and cried for the dead, and cursed the enemy.
