Yeah. I think everyone knew it was "planned" considering that four planes were hijacked on the same day, almost consecutively. I think a better question would be if anyone seriously thinks it wasn't "planned".

If 9/11 was not planned it wouldn't have worked. You can't just wake up and go bomb the world trade center yes it was planned.

well of course 9/11 was planned! by the terroists! if you think that the united states got in league with some foreigners and planned this tragedy, then you are dead wrong...and why are you bring this up anyways? people who lost loved ones are trying to forget this, and yet you dare to bring it up? kudos.

Look up PNAC and Rebuilding America's Defenses. Basically, in 2000 a plan was created to invade Iraq and remove Saddam from power. Rumsfeld approached Clinton in 1998, but obviously nothing was done then. So, how can we just invade Iraq? Let's start a war on terror! Yes, that is what it appears the government did. Think back to WWII. Americans did not want to get involved. Then there was Pearl Harbor. We let the Japanese attack us then. In the 1960s there was a CIA document that planned throwing up a drone plane, shooting it down, and blaming it on Cuba. That was in attempt to go to war with Cuba. So, how was Bush going to sell a war with Iraq. The answer: by carrying out the worst terror attack on American soil. I don't believe the government planned it, but I believe they knew about it and let it happen. There was a government document released before 9/11 that spelled out what to do in case of a terror attack on the World Trade Center using airplanes. At least a dozen different countries told Bush terrorists were planning to fly planes into the WTC. Yet, he did nothing. Before Clinton left office he told Bush that Bin Laden was his biggest obstacle as far as terror was concerned. Yet, Bush did nothing. The events on 9/11 opened the gates for an eventual war with Iraq. Bush has instilled fear into the minds of Americans to believe terrorists are out to get us every day of our lives. Sadly, he has conned millions of Americans. The war with Iraq is illegal. No WMDs, no ties to 9/11, no ties to Al Qaeda, no ties to Bin Laden. Why are we there? It all goes back to that document Rebuilding America's Defenses. The government wanted to set up bases in Iraq to help stabilize the Middle East. Well they got their war, but they have destabilized the region because of it. I have provided historical evidence that our government is corrupt and will start wars for their own agenda. It is up to us as Americans to look at the facts and see where they lead us. As for me, I have no doubt the government was responsible for the horrific events of 9/11.

Wow, can you folks please get the tin foil off your heads, back away from your plastic shrink wrapped windows and take your meds please!? Anyone who honestly thinks it was a conspiracy gives far to much credit to the Gov'ts of the world and if you think the US Gov't could pull this off without anyone knowing it was them or do it this well then you have never worked in the US Govt, with the US Gov't of any of it's agencies.
