  1. Yes it's normal.  I was worried too when I was about two weeks post I still was really sore and I ended up going into the doctor.  She said everything looked fine and a few days later I was fine.  I was so concerned because a nurse at the hospital told me that I should feel good within 5 days and it should get better quick.  Well, it didn't so I freaked.

It took much longer than I had expected it too.

  2. I was that sore for at least three weeks. It depends on how fast your body recovers from injuries. Ask your Doctor about a sitz bath. It should help speed up the healing process. It's also medication free, so if you're concerned about taking anything for breast feeding it is safe. Congratulations on the new addition.

  3. You just had a baby, give it time. You shouldn't work out for 6 weeks, you can over do yourself, i have heard of people passing out as well. my husband and i had intercourse after a week of having my son and i bleed a whole week longer. Just give it time, if your breast feeding they say that you shouldn't work out . Try eating healthy, my son is 5 weeks old and i weigh less than before i got pregnant. good luck

  4. hey there. I had a really easy delivery. I didnt tear or get an episiotomy and only pushed for 15 minutes(labor a total of 9 hours) and I was sore for a few weeks. Its toally normal. you can start taking daily walks two weeks after birth is what my midwife advised me. good luck dear. use an ice pack wrapped in a cloth on your pelvic area. it really helps the bruising feeling! congrats on the little one!

  5. That's completely normal. You should keep resting for at least another week, after that you can go back to your routine, but you need to let your body go back to itself. If you want to work out and all, you need to rest first coz if you don't, then it will take you longer to get well. Just rest for this week as much as you can, after that, it's you again. Congratulations for the new baby, enjoy your motherhood as much as you can since it's a gift from God for us women. Good luck!

  6. I'm 6 weeks post-partum and I stil cna't sit up using my ab muscles or touch down there except to wash VERY lightly.  It's normal and you can be sore for weeks, especially with your first.  I didn't even tear except on the inside.  If you tore or had an episiotomy it can be weeks or months before the soreness is completely gone.  No worries!

  7. Yes, that's normal.  That's why doctors recommend that you don't exercise until 6 weeks.

  8. Hun you just had a baby! Take it easy, its way too eary for you to start working out. I think you should wait atleast 8 weeks to work out. You had a baby so yes its normal for your body to feel sore. Take it easy
